Secondary bone cancer
(bone metastasis)
Secondary bone cancer is cancer which has not started in the bone but has spread from somewhere else in the body (they may also be called Bone Metastasis or bone mets). Secondary bone cancer is treated very differently to primary bone cancer where the cancer has started in the bone.
For information about secondary bone cancer you should look under the cancer type of your original cancer.
For example if you have breast cancer that has spread to your bones you should look under breast cancer.Return to cancer types list
